Chakra is a Sanskrit word that means "wheel of spinning light." According to the vedas, there are seven chakras in the body. They are located just in front of and along the spinal column. These generators and reservoirs of energy are also "databases" for aspects of consciousness. When we learn to produce and direct sacred sound through our energy centers/ Chakras to the physical body, balance occurs which energizes our entire energy system.

Richard Gerber, M.D. writes, "The physical body is the densest component of many interactive energy fields. Each of these fields, or higher dimensional light bodies, is connected to the physical cellular structure through a complex network of energy threads.
